SERVICE AGREEMENT

Automatic Payments: You agree to save and maintain a valid credit or debit card in your Time To Pet account, and we will automatically charge your stored payment method when an invoice becomes due. We do not accept cash, checks, money orders, or peer-to-peer transfers through Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, PayPal, or similar services.

Due Dates: Full payment for services is required no later than two days before the start of the scheduled service period or immediately upon receipt of the invoice, whichever comes first. Cancellations: Premiere Pet Sitters of Paso del Norte Inc. does not issue refunds. For same-day cancellations, the full cost of the scheduled service will be charged. Cancellations made 48 to 72 hours prior to the scheduled service will incur a charge of 25% of the total service fee. Cancellations made four or more days in advance will not incur any charges. For Initial Consultations (Meet & Greet appointments), a $15 deposit will be charged if services are not booked and paid for within 14 days of the meeting. Credits, when applicable, will expire and cannot be redeemed after 180 days from the original date of payment. Premiere Pet Sitters of Paso del Norte Inc. reserves the right to refuse the issuance of credits if services are canceled three or more times within any 365-day period.

Third-Party Expenses: Premiere Pet Sitters of Paso del Norte Inc. requires immediate reimbursement for third-party expenses such as veterinary medical care, pet supplies, and locksmith employment if we have paid for such expenses on your behalf. We will make every attempt to contact you to confirm your choice of action in the event third-party expenses are expected or have been incurred. If you cannot be reached in a timely manner, we will charge your stored payment method for the expenses, plus an additional 5% to cover the payment processing fees that are charged to us. It is recommended that you pay third-party vendors directly to avoid this fee.

Past Due Invoices: If your stored payment method becomes expired or removed, or payment fails for any reason, your reservation will be cancelled. If services have already been rendered, or we have paid third-party vendors on your behalf, and the invoice for such rendered services or third-party expenses becomes past due, a $1 late fee will be assessed every day that a balance remains. After 30 days, if the total balance has not been paid, we reserve the right to take legal action to recover the balance owed and/or send the account to a third-party collection agency.

Home Access, Privacy, and Security: By contracting us to care for your pets, you give us the authorization to enter your home as needed to perform the services outlined in each reservation. Before each reservation begins, you agree to disclose if, when, and where other people are expected to be on your property. This may include, but is not limited to, landscapers, housecleaners, friends, or family. Failure to disclose this information may result in cancelled services and/or the police involvement as we are not familiar with who has permission to be on your property or in your home. You warrant that all security cameras are within legal placement and do not have view of any restrooms, toilet areas, sleeping areas, or any other area in which your pet sitter would reasonably expect privacy. For the safety of your pet sitter, you agree to properly secure your property to the best of your ability prior to leaving the premises. You give us the authorization to employ a locksmith on your behalf in the event of a malfunction of the lock, key, or remote-control entry device. Unless such employment becomes necessary due to our negligence or misconduct, you accept full financial responsibility for the cost of employing a locksmith. See “Third-Party Expenses” for more information.

Emergency Guardians: If you are unable or unwilling to resume custody, care, and control of your pet during or after a reservation, and/or we are unable or unwilling to complete or extend your reservation, you authorize us to transfer care, custody, and control of your pet to any of the individuals listed as Emergency Guardians in your Time To Pet profile. You certify that the individuals listed have been informed of their designation as Emergency Guardians for your pet. If all listed Emergency Guardians are unable or unwilling to accept custody, care, and control of your pet if called upon to do so, your pet may be brought to a kennel or boarding facility at your expense. See “Inclement Weather” for more information.

Inclement Weather: You agree to provide at least one Emergency Guardian specifically for Inclement Weather emergencies. Your Inclement Weather Guardian should live within walking distance, be home during the dates of your reservation, and be able to enter your home to care for your pet if called upon to do so in the event severe weather or natural disaster has caused roadways to be impassable or unsafe to travel, preventing us from reaching your pet.

Pet and Household Supplies: You are responsible for providing adequate pet care and household cleaning supplies for the duration of each reservation. Supplies may include, but are not limited to, food, medication, medical supplies, a sturdy harness or collar, leash, appropriately sized crate, litter, litter bags, cleaning sprays, rags, paper towels, vacuum, broom, and mop. If supplies run out during the reservation, we will attempt to contact you. If unreachable, we will use reasonable judgement and may purchase missing supplies at your expense. See “Third-Party Expenses” for details.

Vaccinations & Zoonotic Disease: You warrant that your pet is currently vaccinated for rabies as required by state law; OR your pet is not currently vaccinated for rabies, but your pet’s veterinarian has provided a medical waiver. You warrant that your pet has no known zoonotic diseases, and should you be made aware of a zoonotic disease, you will notify Premiere Pet Sitters of Paso del Norte Inc. promptly and/or cancel your scheduled services.

Pet Abandonment: If you fail to resume care, custody, and control of your pet on the agreed upon date and time, and extended reservation charges are incurred and remain unpaid for 10 days, and reasonable effort to compensate Premiere Pet Sitters of Paso del Norte Inc. has not been made by yourself or your representative, your pet will be considered “Abandoned”. Premiere Pet Sitters of Paso del Norte Inc. is authorized to sell Abandoned pets at public or private sale, give the pet away, or turn the pet over to the humane society, animal shelter, or other facility.

SEVERE MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

In your Time To Pet profile, you will choose a Severe Medical Emergency Directive for each of your pets. You release Premiere Pet Sitters of Paso del Norte Inc. and the owner and employees of the veterinary clinic from any liability in honoring your selected Directive as described below:

If, in the opinion of the attending veterinarian(s), your pet’s medical condition becomes terminal and hopeless, or death is imminent; or your pet is in a state of permanent unconsciousness; or your pet is suffering and it would be inhumane to keep your pet alive; or there is no reasonable expectation that your pet will recover and regain a meaningful quality of life; or your pet is in the terminal state of an irreversible fatal illness, disease, or condition; then, you direct that further treatment by life sustaining procedures, methods, and devices involving therapeutic or emergency care be:

Option A – withheld and withdrawn. I further direct that all treatments be limited to comfort and pain management measures only, even if they shorten my pet’s life. I authorize Premiere Pet Sitters of Paso del Norte Inc. to give consent on my behalf for humane euthanasia under these circumstances.

Option B – initiated and continued indefinitely, regardless of the expected outcome and cost of treatment. I understand that even with treatment by life sustaining procedures, methods, and devices, and therapeutic and emergency care, my pet’s condition may not improve, and my pet may die during treatment.

We prioritize your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness, ensuring they receive the best care while you're away or busy.
